Our founder, Dr. Kacy Mixon-Gillis, LMFT, has an impressive background in academia, grant/portfolio
management, and trauma-informed mental health services. With over a decade of experience, she has worked
on numerous impactful initiatives, including managing global counter-trafficking in persons (C-TIP) programs
for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Kacy’s extensive expertise in the field, combined
with her passion for supporting vulnerable populations, is instrumental in the success of our consulting
services. She has also been involved in the community mental health sector and provided
consultation/evaluation services in US domestic violence, juvenile, and dependency courts.
We are proud to offer our services in areas such as training and programming development, as well as grant
writing and management. Our track record includes collaborating with U.S. agencies such as the Department
of Defense (DoD), Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Education (DoEd), USAID, Department of
Justice (DoJ)-Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquent Prevention, U.S. Agency for International Development
(USAID) and National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
